A movie should be an adventure that begins when you sit down at home or head out to your favorite movie theatre. You grab some popcorn, sit down with your friends and family, and you immerse yourself into this visual epic. It separates you from reality and from that moment forward nothing else in the world matters.
Equally important is storytelling. It should be encapsulating. There should be at least one emotion or experience that each audience member can relate to. Every person watching should feel something; happiness, sorrow, anger, fear, etc. Emotion is what should remain with a person after a movie. A lasting impression that they can take with them and remember.
